To get approved for a student visa in Canada, the student must search for the right program for them in a University / College that has a been given a DLI (designated learning institution) by the government of Canada. After shortlisting the institutions the Candidate needs to apply and get accepted into the University. An application for student visa will put together along financial support and other required documents.

For candidates below the age of 18 who are accompanying parents on temporary resident visa have a different process to apply for a student permit.
